Brewery Photography & Vinyl Stickers

A few friends have already asked about the quality of pictures on this site. My sister, Katie, has the camera and the talent. She uses a Canon SL1 (aka "the worlds smallest dslr"). She uses a 75-300mm, 50mm, and 18-55mm lens. That's all I know. I show her the cool shiny stuff I am working on and she sets up the shots. It's that easy.

She doesn't mind questions directly emailed to her and she has professionally taken photos for other types of  celebrations, although I think she has a knack for documenting cool stuff (like my brewing setup). Have a question for her? Katie can be reached at

Mash Tun is Done

I started with the easy one. Found the cooler online for a reasonable price and then pieced together fittings I thought I would like based on quality.

One note* Because I went with a longer ball valve handle it actually has to go upside down. I don't think it is noticeable to anyone looking at the system as a whole, but thought I should point that out. Here we go!

Website construction is underway - I am thinking this will help me document the process for others interested as well as plan out my steps as I add basic pieces to the steps of home brewing and then follow up with additions and accessories. It also provides an easy format for shared photos and ideas from others as I work on the Budget Brewery
